Sadly, nothing on the internet really belongs to you. You can host your website and call it "your own", but in reality, the only thing you buy is temporary space on a server that they can revoke your rights to at any time. I know that it really has to suck losing all the stuff that you paid for and worked to set up. Does your mom keep backups? If so, she could at least try another host and keep the data.
