Yea i like the wii u because of the backwards compatible it has

I also think the Switch home menu and features kinda seem cold idk I liked the interaction the wii u and 3ds had with Miiverse
I get that they added screenshot and video transfer to twitter or other social medias on the switch but you cant even view them without switching to a phone or pc lol

Because Nintendo wants the firmware to be "bArEbOnEs" so it boots up faster.
I would gladly take slower loading speed and the fun, quirky stuff over what we have now.

the funnier thing is that some games like NSMBU loads FASTER on Wii U then on Switch and Wii U has a menu and everything and the fact that Nintendo wants things to be barebones seems really not Nintendo for them to do. Things really changed after Iwata died

It seems like they saw failure with the Wii U so they Switched (pun intended) from the entertaining quirks such as music to a bland menu with almost nothing.
Seems like the Wii wasn't so much of a "revolution".
