Yeah. It is a little more active. I think it's probably 2nd best along with Rverse for 3DS and soon Wii U. Rverse is still mostly used but CloneMii+ is another one that's more active. Also works across more because it's a website.

It's also english. It's safe to hack your Wii U as long as you have a 32gb SD Card at least, NAND Backup, and you turn off Spotpass. I've done it myself. Also don't follow video tutorials as those get outdated very fast. Ciiverse is dead I will admit and I can't even make an account anyways on there so it's even more dead.

I think Wii U says "Online services cannot be used." as an error if you get banned. Not sure WHAT exactly gets you banned, though.
