Miiverse was a way to interact with other users. The Switch does a good job of keeping people in isolated cells with no communication with others. Maybe mario maker 2 with its comments, but...

Funny thing about Mario Maker 2 is that when commenting on a user's levels, I notice these facial expressions. And also on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, when viewing a Mii Fighter Online, a Video Online or a Custom Stage Online, I noticed there was the "Yeah!" thing there. I knew what these were about - a reference to Miiverse.

All ways to message on Switch.

1. Animal Crossing New Horizons Mail
You can mail your friends in animal crossing new horizons. You can send 2 per friend per day normally and if order green bubblegum after getting it, you can send it to friends 5 times. Idk if it's per friend. Use a Nintendo Switch Family with 8 users in it per friend if possible for maximum. One parent, 7 "child" accounts.

2. SMM2
Just get SMM2 and comment on friends levels

3. SSBU Shared Content
A video with a title like friend me and edited with Text to also have MK8 Tournaments are cool.

4. Colors Live
Now that Colors Live is out, use that. It is much better

5. Secret Internet Browser
Go to system settings. Select Internet. Select Internet Settings. Choose your Wifi connection. After, click change settings. Select DNS settings. Change DNS from automatic to manual. After that, input 045.055.142.122 in primary and save. Click OK and "test" it. It will pretend it needs to register and from there, you can use it. You should try rewrite.webs.nf or 3dspaint.com as examples. They are great sites. You need to do this for each friend. Also, login and message. This is the best you have if your friends don't have Animal Crossing New Horizons. This is the backbone of Twitter and Facebook I think and just exploits stuff a bit. Only now, you are more limited.

This is pretty much all you have sadly. I wish there was a Miiverse 2 that wasn't hard to even have a chance to get available, let alone actually happen. At least there should be a web browser because they can patch it with new updates.

4. Colors Live

But why would you pay $50 for a Flipnote Studio clone when the original was free?

Colors Live isn't meant for animation. It's meant for art. Also it has more layers and much better than making paintings on Flipnote Studio. However it is too much in my opinion. I think $20 would be reasonable since it has a pressure-sensitivity pen. But Flipnote Studio is for animation mostly especially the original DSi Flipnote while Colors is meant for paintings, not animation. A little much in price but not a clone of Flipnote.
