I think it'd be possible to get this site to work on the Wii U's Miiverse applet. I was able to load the site (with minor issues) on my console just fine.

It also might not work since the Miiverse applet only connects to valid HTTPS related stuff (in Wii U's terms) and this site has HTTPS issues on Wii U which makes some images not load.
But for the Discovery server, it's literally an XML file
