Nintendo disabled NNID logins into Nintendo Accounts a while ago because of "sEcUrItY cOnCeRnS". You unfortunately have to log in via login and password or another platform.

And there is apparently no timebomb on the flashcard! There is a good amount of games on there already.

Also, my dad is now extremely sad that I formatted it (to create a NNID). That there were apparently X games on it already...

MY DAD HAS MANAGED IT. He successfully landed an Old 3DS XL as an xmas gift! It also came with the charger & a R4 flashcard (timebomb exploded though).

actually, you can merge back. i just set your password box back to a bcrypt hash. but i dont wanna keep going back and forth, so you get 3 times to merge and merge back.

Anyone knows how do you get rid of this?

Nintendo said in 2014 that they wont kill off Nintendo Network as early as WFC on ds and wii Iwata himself said in an interview in 2014 that they plan to run NN up until 2030 even if no one uses it lol
